PORTLAND, Ore., March 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Ranger Chocolate Co., a leader in craft chocolate and confections, is proud to announce its expansion into a new, state-of-the-art facility within Portland’s historic Olympic Mills building. Originally known as the Olympic Cereal Mill and also referred to as the B&O Warehouse, the building is a designated Portland Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood, this move marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey, more than doubling our production capacity and space while reinforcing our commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
“The Olympic Mills building is an iconic part of Portland’s industrial history, and we’re thrilled to make it our new home,” said George Domurot, Founder and CEO of Ranger Chocolate Co. “Staying in the Central Eastside neighborhood allows us to continue our strong ties with the local maker community while elevating our production capabilities and refining our craft. We are excited to remain part of this dynamic area as we grow.”
The new facility will feature cutting-edge production equipment, expanded tasting and tour experiences, and a greater focus on sustainable practices, aligning with Ranger’s mission to create ethically sourced, exceptional chocolate.
Introducing the Portland Craft Chocolate Festival

Set to take place the first weekend in October, the festival will offer an immersive experience, including tastings, pairings, demonstrations, and industry discussions.
“Portland has a vibrant craft chocolate scene, and this festival is an opportunity to bring together the best makers, innovators, and enthusiasts to celebrate the artistry and passion behind chocolate,” said Domurot. “We want to highlight the incredible talent in our region and create a space for chocolate enthusiasts to connect and discover.”
